Applying Research and Public Education to halt the Spread of HIV and AIDS

The HIV/AIDS Training Program at PDP strives to provide relevant and critical information on HIV/AIDS that will:

  • Support health and human services professionals caring for people infected with HIV/AIDS
  • Promote quality care and target resources needed to meet the needs of underserved communities
  • Promote HIV prevention education and harm reduction
  • Influence public policy and facilitate research relevant to the HIV/AIDS epidemic

The Professional Development Program HIV/AIDS Training Program is funded by the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute as a Regional Training Center and a Center of Expertise in HIV Case management.
