About PDP Programs
Charitable Choice

In collaboration with the New York State Offices of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) and Children and Family Services (OCFS), PDP provides a range of activities to stimulate and support the participation of faith-based community organizations in providing certain publicly-funded human services. This includes administrative, logistical, and conference/regional meeting planning, technical assistance, consultation, and website content development.

PDP's diverse activities in support of New York's faith-based and community activities, have made it easier for faith-based and community organizations to understand this aspect of welfare reform and gain access to critical informational resources that helps them to determine if they are ready to participate. Assisting organizations to become more familiar with the requirements for obtaining and managing public funds, conducting local needs assessments, developing and working with boards and managing sound, effective human service programs form the cornerstone of PDP's partnership with the state and the faith-based community.
