Ensuring Children Get The Support They Need

New York State is committed to forging strong partnerships among government, state and local agencies to strengthen the state’s Child Support Enforcement network and increase Child Support payments for its children and families.

Staff in this statewide project provide training and technical assistance that enables workers to better assist welfare recipients and other parents in obtaining child support. Subject matter experts, curricula designers and developers and trainers work together to:

• Provide staff with skills, knowledge and technical expertise to maximize all tools necessary for increasing child support payments
• Provide outreach about child support services to other interested parties
• Provide the development, maintenance and distribution of relevant technical publications
