Improving Workforce Performance Through Professional Meetings
One way OTDA promotes self-sufficiency for NY residents is by sponsoring high quality training conferences, seminars, regional meetings and forums. These events provide opportunities for exploring new ways and best practices that help make Welfare Reform work.
This statewide, multi-component project is the primary mechanism to coordinate, train and provide support for OTDA training conferences, divisional staff forums and much more. Working with all levels of OTDA executive, management and program staff, PDP has developed procedures and event management tools that form the infrastructure needed to plan, deliver and evaluate professional, comprehensive programs that support OTDA's mission and strategic goals.
We Provide A Full Spectrum of Event Management Services
PDP maintains a master schedule of all training events, a statewide inventory of suitable conference sites and catering services and provides detailed financial reports for various programs and events under contract.
Our event management services include:
- Pre-event - needs assessment, site negotiations and selection
- At event - registrations, venue logistics, AV needs
- Post event - reconciling bills, generating reports
- Evaluation - analyze participant data, prepare reports
