Welfare-To-Work Training and Technical Assistance
Making the Transition from Welfare to Work
We assist New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance staff in their efforts to help the least employable, most disadvantaged welfare recipients and non-custodial parents make the transition from welfare to work.
Our statewide training, curriculum design and development, technical assistance and full training support provide:
- Skills and knowledge for new and experienced staff so they better perform their jobs
- Information on program implementation, policy updates, and best practices through advanced worker training
- Training and technical assistance on issues or topics related to Welfare-To-Work (WTW) programs as determined by the Welfare-To-Work Division
- Training and technical assistance on the redesigned Welfare-To-Work Caseload Management System (WTWCMS)
