Training on Custom Computer Applications

The New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance’s Division of Employment and Transitional Supports needed a statewide system to help businesses find workers and people find jobs. The computer-based Welfare-to-Work Caseload Management System is designed to do just that, and PDP was asked to help the department train its workers on this new computer system. Hands-on training in computer labs builds basic skills in office automation technology, and culminates in the trainees working through the actual application.
