Child Support Enforcement
PDP works extensively with state and county agencies responsible for implementing child support policy and using automated case load management systems. For more than 20 years, PDP has designed and delivered training to meet the specific needs of child support staff, attorneys, and family court magistrates and clerks. This training covers the day-to-day use of case load management systems, and demonstrates applications of child support policy and procedures to required job functions and tasks.
PDP also advances statewide child support outreach efforts through the ongoing design, development and maintenance of public and internal websites, electronic reference materials and promotional publications. Training and reference materials developed by PDP have been reprinted in the Journal of the New York State Bar Association, and PDP staff members are sought out to deliver presentations at state, regional, and national conferences of program professionals, such as the New York State Training Council, the National Child Support Enforcement Association, the National Staff Development and Training Association, and the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement.
Featured Program
PDP's Child Support Training and Outreach Project (CSTOP) works in close collaboration with the NYS Division of Child Support Enforcement to train hundreds of local district social services staff statewide each year. Using a variety of technologies, CSTOP provides accessible, timely and cost-effective training for this widely dispersed workforce.
