HIV/AIDS
PDP has developed and delivered HIV training regionally and statewide in its past role as an HIV/AIDS Regional Training Center, funded by the NYSDOH AIDS Institute, and as a statewide Center of Expertise in HIV Case Management.
HIV related training topics included HIV Confidentiality, HIV Testing and Policy, HIV Treatment, Adolescents and HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections, HIV and Domestic Violence, Serving HIV Infected Families from Assessments to Service Plans, Addressing Prevention with HIV Positive Individuals, HIV Overview trainings, HIV and Hepatitis, Substance Use and HIV, Child Welfare and HIV.
As a past Regional Training Center, experienced staff members delivered free training for health and human service providers throughout the Capital District and North Country, in an area that covers Albany, Columbia, Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Greene, Hamilton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington counties.
