Salary: Low $30s (depending on experience)

The Professional Development Program of the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College seeks candidates for full-time Administrative Assistant II positions to provide administrative support for the Public Service Workshops Program. Duties include but are not limited to managing the registration and course offering processes; entering data into an Access database; generating contracts and processing payments; creating and formatting documents; communicating with registrants, educational institutions, and associations statewide via phone and email; file management; and other duties as assigned to fulfill contractual obligations.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent;

  • Four years of progressively responsible administrative support experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Access, Word, and Excel;
  • Ability to format documents of a complex nature;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous tasks and attend to details. Applicants must address in their applications their abilities to work with culturally diverse populations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from a college or university accredited by a USDOE or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
