
Public Service Workshops Program (PSWP)
Providing professional development and training for PS&T unit employees since 1983.
The Public Service Workshops Program (PSWP) is a working partnership between the N.Y.S. Office of Employee Relations, the Public Employees Federation (AFL-CIO), and the Professional Development Program, Rockefeller College, University at Albany. PSWP is funded through the negotiated Agreement between the State of New York and the Public Employees Federation and through additional Management/Confidential funds. PSWP conducts needs assessment to identify emerging professional development needs, and delivers workshops to meet the needs of seven broad occupational groups including accounting and auditing; education and research; engineering, transportation, and environment; health care; information technology; law/criminal justice; and social work and counseling.
