Professional Development Program
"It is an honor and a privilege to assume the position of Executive Director of the Professional Development Program (PDP) from our long-serving Executive Director and Public Service Professor, Eugene J. Monaco who retired on December 31, 2020. I will work tirelessly to continue PDP’s four decade plus pursuit of excellence in providing high quality, state-of-the art education and training programs for employees of public and voluntary agencies.
Our work encompasses a wide range of areas, including but not limited to, early childhood education, child welfare, public/temporary assistance, leadership development, computer/systems training, and youth leadership. In addition, we also have expertise in training program evaluation, event planning, program development, implementation and management, and information systems and applications design, development and implementation. Our programs are offered in a variety of formats, including in-person classroom-based, instructor-led virtual delivery, and self-paced web-based courses, featuring hands-on exercises and practice activities, simulations, roleplaying, and other interactive methodologies."
